Very saddened to learn of John’s passing. I was 10 Sqn Adjt during the period 82/84 and John was the Sqn Ldr ALM Ldr. Our offices were adjacent and John, who had a wide knowledge of the Air Transport world, was a great help and support to me during my tour, always giving sound advice and guidance. John was a lovely man, who was well liked and highly respected and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.
