Sadly we have been advised of the death yesterday of Association member John Ingram Davies (303rd Entry), at his home in Earlsfort Moira. The Association offers its most sincere condolences to John’s family at this difficult time.
I am truly saddened to hear this news. John was in the Entry before mine at Hereford and I’ve known him for many years. He was an amazing Pers Admin who made it up to WO rank very quickly.
He was honest, warm, reliable, tremendously loyal and was well respected by everyone who knew him.
He was awarded a very richly deserved MBE for his Charity work after he left the RAF, and was a very well respected member of our Association. John was also the Regional-Coordinator of our Northern Ireland Group,
My sincere condolences to his wife Dorothy, his family and all his many friends and colleagues.
RIP John my old friend. Fly High.
