Death Of An Association Member

Sadly we have been advised of the death of Association member John Nash (38th Entry). John died on 25th August and had been ill for some time.

John’s  funeral  will take place at Lincolnshire Crematorium on 28th September at 1.10pm followed by a wake at Woodcocks. Flowers only from close family please. Donations to the family’s chosen charities (in lieu of flowers) can be made and these details will be available soon via links with Lincolnshire Cooperative online obituary for John.

  1. I well remember John Nash when I first arrived at Bircham Newton in September 1959. He had transferred to Supply from Locking and was already kitted out. I can still remember his Service Number as it was in a completely different sequence to ours. While we were always all pretty smartly turned out, John was exceptionally so and always took a pride in his appearance. Unfortunately, once we had Passed out in March 1961, our paths never crossed again during my RAF service but we did meet up again twice at 38th Entry Re-unions. It was always a pleasure to meet up with him and those other ex Brats who also attended. Thanks for the memory.
