My thanks to Terry Waine (35th) for a very interesting article outlining his time as an Apprentice and later RAF Service. I know that all of that era will have had much the same AATS junior entry/senior entry shannigans with bed tipping etc!!
I particulary liked Terry’s final paragraph. I was at that Reunion and remember well that WRAF Group Captain boring the pants of us with the most dreary presentation one could ever imagine. The diversity bug had clearly already infected her!!
