A Proposed Visit To Northolt

‘I had the idea of organising a visit to RAF Northolt in West London. I had an encouraging but not particularly forthcoming response to my approach. My thinking is a short talk from the Air Historical Branch, an update of current methods of personnel and logistics practice from an Admin officer, and perhaps a lunch in one of the messes. Northolt as many know is on the Central Undergound line, accessible from Shepherds Bush which has good service to Clapham Junction.

Any member who would like to come along on a visit please contact me pgough@ntlworld.com. If the numbers are not embarrassingly small (i.e. large enough to warrant the effort of the Station to welcome us) I will pursue this, looking to a weekday date in Spring 2023.’
