Thanks to Derek Bunce for sending in an account of his life and times both during and after his RAF Service. I am sure that Derek would like to hear from any ex 306 entry members. Should you be one of them please submit your thoughts by using the comments section at the end of this notice.

If memory serves, I think Derek played the Trumpet in the Apprentice Wing Band. I was in his Senior Entry (304th) and was the Sgt Trumpeter at that time.
Great to hear from him and I wish him well. I was known as Sid in my early RAF days; it is my middle name.
