  1. I was saddened to hear the news regarding the loss of Barry Muscroft. We were both members of the 304th Entry; he was a Supplr Gen and I was a Clk Sec. We both joined the Apprentice Wing Band shortly after we started training. Barry was a drummer and I played the trumpet. We were both progressed and gained promotion in the Band during our training and finished up as Sgt Drummer and Trumpeter respectively; we had a few laughs along the way. We played at the Royal Tournament in 1966 and were both in the Fanfare Section in the Senior Entry. We lost touch after we passed out of training (as some do), but I have some good memories. RIP Barry and my sincere condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.
